# The Björketorp Monument - Overall Gematria

As already seen the number seven is very important in the Björketorp Monument. This is also reflected in the gematria of the runic inscription. For example the gematria for the first three lines is equal to 539 = 7×77, and the gematria for the runes from the seventh to the seventy-seventh rune is equal to 777. Also interesting is that the gematria of the first nine lines in the inscription is equal to 1239 = 7×177, the first 11 lines have the gematria 1330 = 7×190, and all runes on stone A have together the gematria 1505 = 7×5×43.

Further, the number of runes on the three big stones A, B and C is equal to 168 = 7×24 (the same as the number of hours per week), and the combined gematria of those runes is equal to 1974 = 7×2×141, and from 1974 can be produced 1 + 9 + 7 + 4 = 21 = 7×3, which is also the number of runic rows on stones A, B and C.

Further, in all there are 49 = 7×7 words on stone A, and the number of runes making up those words on the same stone is equal to 133 = 7×19. On stones B and C there are 14 = 7×2 and 21 = 7×3 runes respectively, and the gematrias of their respective runes are equal to 196 = 7×7×4 for stone B and 273 = 7×39 for stone C. This leads also to that stones A and B together have the combined gematria 1505 + 196 = 1701 = 7×3×3×3×3×3. These two stones have also 147 = 7×7×3 runes together.

On stone D, there are then 42 runes with a gematria value of 637 = 7×7×13. The runic gematria value for the whole monument becomes therefore 1974 + 637 = 2611 = 7×373, and the total number of runes on the monument becomes 168 + 42 = 210 = 7×30.

In addition to runes, there are also Minoan Linear A signs and hieroglyphs on the monument. These have a combined gematria value of 1492 = 4×373, and adding this value to 2611 yields 4103 = 11×373.
